Blosxom Back Up!

In case you haven’t heard the news, thanks to the fabulous and speedy work of Eric Pierce, my Bloxsom site is back up.

I think I’m going to stick with this though, so I don’t have to spend all my time crafting my entries with a bunch of HTML formatting.

Gnome 2.12 Sneak Peek

For those of you wondering, Gnome 2.12 is due out September 7′th. It comes bearing a ton of new features, some tighter Nautilus/Gstreamer integration and a new software package called evince that lets you preview PDF files from file browsers.

After putting another hour and change on the new Trek, I’ve spent some time tinkering with Beagle and F-Spot. I think that even if you completely ignore the turnaround that Novell has given to SLES, the Novell Linux Desktop is shaping up to be a pretty nice package of software.
